Tinypad in Chrome
Bring your bookmarks into Tinypad and set up your Home button and startup page.
Import your bookmarks
Saving an import requires Tinypad Pro. You can upload and review your file before upgrading.
- On your computer, open Chrome and follow this export path:
Menu → Bookmarks and lists → Bookmark manager → Menu → Export bookmarks
- Save the exported HTML file so you can upload it to Tinypad.
- In Tinypad’s setup wizard, choose Guide me → Import from browsers → Chrome, then upload the bookmarks HTML file.
- Review your file. If needed, choose Upgrade to Tinypad Pro and finish checkout. Return to the wizard and choose Create Tinypad to complete the import.
Set Tinypad as your homepage
- Open Chrome’s Settings and select Appearance.
- Enable the Home button, choose a custom address, and enter https://www.tinypad.app/mypad.
- To also open Tinypad when Chrome launches, select On startup and choose to open a specific set of pages.
- Add https://www.tinypad.app/mypad to that list and save it.
The Home button and startup pages are separate settings. These steps change those two entry points; new tabs keep their own page.
