Tinypad in Brave

Bring your bookmarks into Tinypad and use it as your homepage and new-tab page.

Import your bookmarks

Saving an import requires Tinypad Pro. You can upload and review your file before upgrading.

  1. On your computer, open Brave and follow this export path:

    Menu → Bookmarks → Bookmarks Manager → Menu → Export

  2. Save the exported HTML file so you can upload it to Tinypad.
  3. In Tinypad’s setup wizard, choose Guide me → Import from browsers → Brave, then upload the bookmarks HTML file.
  4. Review your file. If needed, choose Upgrade to Tinypad Pro and finish checkout. Return to the wizard and choose Create Tinypad to complete the import.

Set Tinypad as your homepage

  1. Open Brave’s Settings and select Appearance.
  2. Enable Show home button and enter https://www.tinypad.app/mypad as its custom address.
  3. To also open your homepage in new tabs, find New tab page shows in the new-tab settings and select Homepage.

The Home button opens your configured homepage. The new-tab option lets you use that same address for new tabs as well.
